The Vegan Wares concept
is "practical, durable everyday wear" - products which will give many years
of reliable service and which are a delight to own and wear. Vegan
Wares shoes are made with the best perfoming non-leather materials, and
our rigorous construction methods aim to maximize product life & customer
satisfaction. We absolutely do not compromise quality in order to make
our products a few dollars cheaper. What the customer gets is a long
lasting, repairable product, which saves money and resources in the longer
run. There is also a 'service' component which customers can
call on if they wish, including: maintenance & repair advice; special
colour & style orders; advice & customized products for persons
who suffer allergic reactions to substances frequently occuring in footwear.
These are important selling points which distinguish our brand from many
others.

Set prices to obtain
a normal retail mark-up, & reflect quality. When customers ask
about relative prices, provide factual information about the various attributes
of each product so that customers can make informed decisions (sellers
must know their products !). Avoid sales hyperbole.
2) THE VEGAN WARES WHOLESALE
SYSTEM
The Vegan Wares wholesale
system is simple & makes life easy for everyone. It allows the
retailer to minimize stock holdings & at the same time maximize
the number of Vegan Wares styles that can be offered to clients - see wholesale
options page for further explanation. It also minimizes administrative
overheads & hence allows us to keep our prices as low as possible.
In submitting a
wholesale order you are implicitly accepting our terms of trade.
These are set out below. There's nothing threatening or unusual in
these terms, but to avoid any confusion or embarassment please read them
carefully.
Our
Terms:
a) Basic
Arrangement:
* minimum order
for footwear: 10 pairs, mixed styles
* minimum
order for other items is 10 units, single product line
* payment
by credit card or direct transfer to our bank account
* full payment
prior to dispatch
* we may
require full or part payment on receipt of order
* acceptance
of any order is at the sole discretion of Vegan Wares
b) Other Details:

orders page. Orders may be submitted electronically or by post

to obtain a confirmation
of receipt of order, send us a separate email requesting confirmation |

once an order
has been submitted it may not be cancelled unless agreed in writing by
Vegan Wares. We will not agree to cancellation if we have already commenced
manufacture / supply |

may be available by special request |

minor variations
within styles may occur due to product development, modification of factory
procedures, availability of materials, etc. The purchaser accepts that
variances may occur and agrees not to make claims against Vegan Wares on
such grounds |

this site are not necessarily current, & prices applicable to
each order should be verified in writing by the client at the time the
order is placed |

goods may not
be returned except where faulty; where there is disagreement as to whether
or not an item is faulty the final decision rests with Vegan Wares.
Costs associated with the return of any goods shall be borne by the purchaser,
but may be re-imbursed by Vegan Wares at its discretion |

we are normally
able to commence dispatch of goods within 4 weeks of receipt of order;
more usually within 2 weeks. However, delays can arise from interruptions
to the supply of materials, high demands on particular shoe lasts, machinery
breakdowns, illness to key staff, & so forth. The purchaser accepts
that delays may occur and agrees not to make claims against Vegan Wares
on such grounds |
