Wares is different from most other shoe stores. This is because we
make our own products, and thus offer a lot more service than you're probably
used to - and a lot more variety.
When you visit
our store you can buy off-the-shelf, or order something to be made up.
We generally hold a full size range in our most popular styles for immediate
purchase. If you want to select a different colour, or a different
style, all you need to do is place an order & in most cases your shoes
will be ready for collection or posting within 2 weeks.
When ordering you
select your size by trying on various shoes from our holdings that are
made on the shape (mould / last) that you like. You pick the size
that feels best. Where fitting adjustments are necessary, for example
extra width, we may take supplementary measurements.
There is no extra
charge for making up our regular styles to standard fittings. However,
small extra fees do apply for colour options ($22) and any other adjustments
that require us to do additional work.
We require a deposit
of at least 50% of the retail price at the time of ordering, with the balance
payable on collection. For shoes that are to be posted we require
full payment at the time of ordering.
